- Confirm that you are in the named region. A lake in the Valley is not evidence that a Headlands species will be there.
- Match the smaller habitat too: caves and nearby stone formations are not interchangeable.
- Read the species entry for a more precise clue, such as Wild Green Zuma hiding beneath rocks and vegetation near water.
- Record what you actually find and a nearby landmark. The surveys provide neither fixed spawn points nor respawn timers.
Region, habitat or Aquatic Zone?
The world guide compares the four primary zones. A marsh or lakeside habitat may belong to a land region; its proximity to water does not identify it as the Aquatic Zone. Use the regional survey attached to the species as your source.
Check the target before gathering
- Ice Bonebell is associated with predator nests in the Valley’s Red Forest.
- Green Naga and Ebony Linter are poisonous raw, even though they grow near water.
- Prism Nut offers fatty nutrition but quickly increases thirst.
